60 seconds of GrooveLab driving a real Ableton Live session.

An AI producer that actually knows Ableton.

Not a plugin. Not a wrapper. A native app that drives Live over the same MIDI remote interface Ableton ships.

  1. 01

    Conversational control

Describe what you want — chord progressions, drum fills, automation, routing — and GrooveLab does it. No menu diving, no shortcuts to memorize.

  2. 02

    Full DAW access

Tracks, clips, sends, devices, tempo, automation. GrooveLab has a toolbox of Ableton primitives and decides when to use them — you stay in creative flow.

  3. 03

    MIDI that understands music

Ask for a bassline in D minor that dances around the kick. A jazzy chord voicing. A counter-melody. GrooveLab generates real MIDI that lands in your clips.

  4. 04

    Voice dictation, offline

Don't want to type while producing? Toggle the mic and speak. Whisper runs 100% locally — your voice never leaves your Mac or PC.

  5. 05

    Your key, your data

Bring your own Anthropic API key. Your sessions never touch our servers. We sell you software — not your creative process.

  6. 06

    Native Mac & Windows

One signed install per platform. Includes the Ableton connector, auto-install, and a guided setup — no copying files to mystery folders.

Questions we hear a lot.

Which versions of Ableton Live does GrooveLab work with?

Ableton Live 10, 11, and 12 — Standard or Suite. Lite and Intro aren't supported.

Do I need an Anthropic API key?

Yes. GrooveLab uses Claude for the language understanding, and you bring your own key. Typical sessions cost a few cents. You can grab one in 30 seconds at console.anthropic.com.

Does GrooveLab generate audio, or just MIDI?

GrooveLab writes MIDI and drives Ableton — the sound always comes from your own instruments and plugins. Bring the sounds you love; GrooveLab composes with them.

What's the license, how many computers?

One purchase, all your machines — no machine-binding, no activation count. Licenses are personal; reach out if you need team seats.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final. If something's broken on your setup, email support@groovelab.ai and we'll work with you to fix it.

What's a beta license vs retail?

Just the price. The software and updates are the same, and your license is permanent. Buy now at $29 and you keep your lifetime v1 license — retail goes up to $149 when v1 ships.

Linux?

Not officially — Ableton itself doesn't run on Linux.
